Alcohol good. Cannabis bad. That was the Irish Government's view until a few years ago. Then the rest of the world started waking up and they had to listen.
Ask anyone over the age of 40 what they think of each and you'll probably get very different answers. It's amazing how powerful normalisation v criminalisation can affect people's attitudes.
This is the same country that was told homosexuality was bad and that men knew better when it comes to what a woman can and cannot do with her body.
