'I'm crap at keeping plants, everything dies'. Is a quote you often hear from people. Well, let me introduce you to succulents. The easiest plants in the world to keep.

It's a diverse group with 10,000 known species across 60 plant families. I've got a few, indoors and out. Here's a selection.........

I’ve been keeping this one alive for a few years but this one needs watering at least once a week and I missed a few so, bar the tips, it all died. I haven’t seen it anywhere since I got it. Anyone know what it is?

It sounds like you have a succulent that might be a bit more sensitive to watering frequency. Without a photo or more specific description, it can be challenging to identify the exact type of succulent. However, some common types of succulents that require less frequent watering and are known for being easy to care for include:

1. **Echeveria**: These are rosette-shaped succulents with thick leaves that come in various colors and sizes.

2. **Haworthia**: These are small, low-growing succulents with distinctive rosette patterns and often white striping or spotting on their leaves.

3. **Gasteria**: These are similar to Haworthia but with more textured leaves and often a darker green color.

4. **Sedum**: These are more diverse, with some varieties growing as ground covers, while others form upright stems with colorful foliage.

If you can provide more details or a photo, it can help in identifying the specific type of succulent you have.
