The Fiaili Way

Fiaili is the Irish word for weed - fee-a-lee.

We want everyone who can, to grow their own. Therefore we have to make it easy and accessible.

Here's Version 1.0 -

Lighting is the biggest cost when it comes to setting up.

I chose full spectrum LED lights instead of the cheaper HPS lights because they’re better. LEDs are cheaper to run and they give off less heat which can affect your growing in the warmer summertime.

Here's my matrix of everything you'll need equipment-wise.

The extractor fan is made by a company called Secret Jardin. They are so quiet and energy efficient compared to regular extractor fans.

I haven't included a thermometer or hydrometer that measures humidity because I haven't used either in a couple of years.

I also haven't included a greenhouse heater which you'll need in the wintertime if you are growing in a garden shed. They cost about €40.00
