What a huge difference this would make. Here’s my 2cents on how to achieve it.

The Cannabis Legalization Deal That Would Make Sense for Trump

What if we could federally legalize cannabis tomorrow—without the public backlash, without the smell, and with one person controlling 100% of the banking rights?

Here’s the deal:

✅ No Smell, No Public Nuisance
Forget the old-school image of smoke-filled rooms. The future of cannabis is odorless, organic edibles—no smoke, no disruption, no complaints. Edibles already dominate legal markets, and a shift to smell-free consumption eliminates one of the biggest objections to legalization.

✅ Banking? Trump Owns It.
If President Trump were to back full federal legalization, he could own 100% of the banking infrastructure. Every cannabis transaction, every loan, every financial service would go through a Trump-backed or Trump-licensed entity.

💰 The Economic Play: The legal cannabis industry in the U.S. is already worth $30+ billion, and it’s still locked out of traditional banking. Whoever controls the financial rails controls the industry.

🔑 The Legacy Move: Trump could be the first U.S. President to fully legalize cannabis, positioning himself as the businessman who finally monetized and mainstreamed an industry that’s already winning in state after state.

🚀 Win-Win:
• The cannabis industry gets legitimacy.
• Banks and businesses get clarity.
• The public gets clean, smell-free, responsible consumption.
• And Trump? He gets exclusive ownership of the financial backbone of one of America’s fastest-growing industries.

If you were in the room, would you take this deal? 👀

The long term implications are he has control of the industry’s purse strings.

Here’s an example of something very similar. We’ll see how that turns out.

US President Donald Trump said that Venezuela's interim government will deliver up to 50 million barrels of oil to the United States, and that the proceeds "will be controlled by me" as president.

Mr Trump announced that the plan would be executed immediately by Energy Secretary Chris Wright.

"The Interim Authorities in Venezuela will be turning over between 30 and 50 MILLION Barrels of High Quality, Sanctioned Oil, to the United States of America," Mr Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

"This oil will be sold at its market price, and that money will be controlled by me, as President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States," he added.
