Tonight at the National Stadium. Look at that mosh below and tell me you are not hearing genius. You'd also know it by just being there.
I've been into these guys since I first heard them about 13 months ago. Seen them four times live, managed to blag tickets for three of them so far. They've always reminded me of the classic Irish rock band Horslips. Do you remember them at teenage discos in the church hall at full volume?
They played a couple of tracks from their new album, one of which had a very Thin Lizzy vibe to it. They also played Thin Lizzy after the gig. Hmmmm coincidence?
One of the free gigs was a pop-up outside the Guinness Storehouse on NYE. We were this close!
Anyways. Last night they were handing out free cans of Guinness to the fans.
The first time I saw them live, February 2024 in Brighton, I said to their manager, Éamonn Conway, that I wanted them to be the official band of An Cáca. He told me it would cost. Good to see our national drink chipping in in the meantime.
These guys are going all the way. See you at the top.
